Known for her holistic vision, Sarajane Lynch is a highly sought-after hair stylist and educator based in New York City.
Sarajane Lynch, a native of Orange County, California began her career in 1996 at Vidal Salon in Santa Monica. She moved to New York City in 2004 and immediately connected with the famous Bumble and Bumble salon. It was there where she discovered the facets of her passion in self care, hair and the art of styling. She became the lead educator at Bumble where she taught an expansive curriculum to a wide array of stylists.
In 2008 Sarajane was hired as a stylist at ION Studio. Sara played an important role in developing IONs' renowned educational program. Her journey continued to the Whittemore House in 2012, where she stayed for five years. It was at the Whittemore House where she developed her business sense and had this deep desire to start her own business and become an independent salon.
Today, Sarajane has evolved into her own studio space at ManeSpace in Chelsea, a unique co-working space designed exclusively for beauty professionals.
Sarajane strongly believes that happiness begins with self-care and being comfortable in one’s own skin. HER mission IS TO BUILD A STRONG RAPPORT WITH CLIENTS BY UNDERSTANDING UNIQUE shapes, technique,AND style OF EVERY MANE.
In Sarajanes work, she strives to represent not only years of technique and craft, but also reflect the character and style of the client’s themselves. She goes for both a fashionable look, and a way to live. She provides individuals with a custom tailored mane to suit their everyday needs.
She specializes not only in education for the stylist but education for the client. She teaches the individual how to maintain and style their hair; allowing clients to embrace who they are and most of all loving their hair.
Sarajane is also a proud supporter and volunteer for Fearless Beauty, an organization that empowers women who are impacted by institutional and social injustice through cosmetology education and mentorship in the beauty industry — using beauty and community to liberate and heal.
